I had made arrangement with my elder sister to look after DZ for couple of hours on Friday night. My twin sister and I have the same group of friends during our high school days. We used to hang out together. It has been awhile since we met our friends and we had an appointment with them after work on Friday night at HarbourFront banquet. I left work at 6.30pm and took a bus to HarbourFront. I reached the place at 7pm. After checking with the information counter staff the location of the banquet, I started walking towards that direction. There I found my two good friends Anu and Premala waiting. We hugged each other and were very excited about the meeting. We waited for my sister and Uma. They reached the place at 7.25pm. We went to the banquet and luckily it was not crowded. Each of us went to order the food and we ended up with 2 tables spread of food. I ordered fish & chip, chicken set, my sister ordered carrot cakes and chicken rice, Uma ordered satay and drinks, Anu ordered rojak and Premala ordered Mee goreng and Murtabak. Well it was definetly alot for the five of us. We agreed not to talk about dieting that night especially with all those delicious food infront of us. We heard how each of us are stuck in our first job and could not get out of that place. We complained and complained about our work. We were the gossipmonger. We practically updated each other's life and gossip about the students and teachers where we once studied together. We laughed our heads off and we definetly had heads turning to our tables. But we paid no attention to them as we enjoyed each others company. We ate our food slowly while we discussed about everything and everyone we knew. Well inbetween I had to do my duty as a mother as I called my sister place to find out what my DZ was doing. She was playing with my nephews. I did not call my hubby at his workplace that evening because I was enjoying myself hehehe. We finally finished our food at 9.30pm and we decided to walk around the shopping mall. Most of the shops were closing as it was near to 10pm. We promised to meet up again for a movie the next time. My bil fetch my DZ before picking us up at HarbourFront. I went back to my mom's place which was near HarbourFront. My DH came back from work at the same time. I packed my DZ's stuff and we went home. The next two days I spent my time playing with my DZ.
